Pittsburgh's finest synth wizard and aueter of electronic boogie funk, Buscrates, is coming in hot for a special live show at Friends and Lovers to celebrate the release of his new LP "Control Center" on Bastard Jazz. Counting luminaries like Jazzy Jeff, Dam Funk, Rich Medina and Francois K as supporters, Bus' style is a unique one forged by years of studio mastery, deep crates and high level productions for the likes of Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller and Curren$y. He'll be joined on opening and closing sets by local heros Cam-Run & Miss Hap Selam who will keeping the vibes correct for the dancefloor.

Selam Samuel, aka Dj Miss Hap Selam, is selector based in New York City. Miss Hap has had the pleasure of playing some of NYC’s longest-running reggae parties such as Coney Island Reggae on the Boardwalk, When Dance Was Nice, Downtown Top Ranking, and Swing a Ling. She has also made several radio appearances on The Lot, WFMU, WNYU, and BBox Radio. Outside the decks, you can find her several days a week behind the counter at Record City in Flatbush for all your vinyl necessities. You can catch Miss Hap spinning around Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and everywhere else in between.
